After a fire occurred in a part of our refinery department time stood still in the night to Easter Monday. It is still hardly believable that normal daily routine was taken up again in the production 24 hours later.

Other production areas were also affected by the heavy smoke emission, however, analysis conducted after basic cleaning on the day after the fire showed that workplace threshold values were not exceeded and therefore no danger existed for our staff.

Hence large parts of the production could be taken up again immediately after inspecting the damage. In the meantime almost all business processes are running as usual again, so that we are able to execute largely all orders on schedule. This is owed the devotion and cohesion of our staff.

We thank all customers and business partners for their understanding and trust which was granted also in these difficult times.

Especially we also thank all fire fighters and auxiliaries for their encouraged intervention in the night of fire.
